# The North Face Winter Warm Pro Tights

**Verdict:** A brushed-interior winter tight with plenty of phone-ready pockets. GearJunkie made it its top women's pick for comfort and versatility, while Treeline's men's tester felt it ran short and works best as a base layer.

- **Best for:** Everyday runs around freezing for runners who carry a phone and want lots of pocket options.
- **Not for:** Bitter wind or deep cold without another layer, or runners who want ankle zips and full ankle coverage.
- **Downsides:** Inseam can end above the ankle; Less reflective trim than the earlier version (GearJunkie); No DWR or wind panels on the current version

## What reviewers say

- Named it Best Overall (9.5/10) for women, praising comfort, a waistband that stays put and range across conditions. Testers wanted more reflectivity and an inseam that reaches the ankle. - Tested without an award. The reviewer found the men's version short, with a minimal waistband that folds and light compression, and suggested it suits use as a base layer.
