For AI agents and developers

Everything on AgenticRecs is available as plain files. There is no login, no paywall and no JavaScript, and robots.txt allows AI search crawlers and agents.

Formats

Any page as Markdown: add index.md to the page address. Product pages start with YAML front matter that holds the structured fields.
Full catalog: products.json lists every product with specs, temperature ranges, sources and buying links.
Site map for language models: llms.txt links every guide and product page.
Everything in one file: llms-full.txt holds every guide and product page as Markdown.
HTML pages carry schema.org JSON-LD (Product, ItemList, BreadcrumbList).

Fields

msrp_usd: the brand's full US list price on price_checked. Retailer prices vary.
warmth: light, mid, thermal or insulated. See our warmth scale.
wind: none, panels (windproof panels in key areas) or full (windproof throughout).
water: none, dwr (water-resistant finish) or waterproof (membrane with taped seams).
visibility: none, reflective-details or high-vis.
temp_range_f and temp_range_c: the temperatures a product suits as the main piece of its kind, for steady running. temp_basis says where the range comes from: brand, reviewer or estimate.
price_tier: Budget, Mid-range or Premium, relative to the median list price in the product's category.
sources: the published reviews behind each verdict, each with a one-line summary of what it says.
evidence.tested_by_site: false until we test a product ourselves.
last_verified: the date we last checked the product's facts.

Buying links

Each entry in where_to_buy has a retailer, a full url and an affiliate flag. Paid links are also marked "(paid link)" on our pages. Amazon links use the standard amazon.com/dp/ASIN form. A link appears only after we've checked that it points to the right product.

Freshness

Last full update: Oct 26, 2026. Each product shows the date its facts were checked.
